Quo Vadis

What is Quo Vadis?

Quo Vadis is a program that offers a unique opportunity for young men of high school age to experience Jesus Christ and the Church in a profound way. In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Quo Vadis gives young men the chance to meet the seminarians of the Archdiocese and other young men their own age and to connect and share their faith experience. Quo Vadis is Latin for “Where are you going?” By participating in Quo Vadis events, young men can be a part of fun sports and activities, powerful prayer experiences, and small group discussion centered on what it means to live out the Catholic Christian call to holiness in today’s world.

How are Quo Vadis Days Different than Quo Vadis Summer Days?

Quo Vadis has two dimensions: There are individual “Quo Vadis Days” that meet at various locations (usually on a Sunday afternoon) throughout the Archdiocese during the academic school year. There is also an extended “Quo Vadis Summer Days” encounter that is held over a period of several days in the summer time. Both offer young men the chance to have a great time in playful fellowship activities and to further their relationship to each other and to Christ in prayer and discussion. The Quo Vadis days offer a several hour “mini-camp” experience and the Quo Vadis Summer Days offer an extended camp experience for in-depth growth and faith-sharing.
